We appreciate your support. Implementing trails into the Stockton Lake area and providing fun, healthy activities for families is important to us. We frequently have families ask us where they can take their children to show them different aspects of nature. We are excited to work with the Stockton Trails Initiative Coalition to assist with trails and activities all around beautiful Stockton Lake.
Funds raised from the previous years have helped with the Umber Ridge Trail located within Stockton State Park. This trail is 1.75 miles with natural terrain. Funds have also helped with the .5 mile Nyblad Trail - perfect for a quick hike. Funds also purchased an ATV to assist in building and maintaining the 8 mile Lakeview Trail. Additionally, don't forget to check out the newly added Sortor's Bluff Trail as well as the beautiful trails all around Stockton Lake.
Stockton State Park is also home to a 6.5 mile Water Trail, perfect for kayaking, paddleboarding, or canoeing. Paddle over to the beach for a quick swim, and maybe do a little fishing along the way!
Pets are welcome in the park on a leash. We truly love our four-legged running buddies, but due to insurance and safety purposes we ask that pets refrain from participating in any event except for the canicross trail event on Sunday, April 19.
Love the Earth
We are trying to make our event as green and environmentally friendly as possible. We strongly encourage online registration, but paper registration is still available for 2019.
